ABOUT THE SHOW

Beyond a glass of water shows the struggle of navigating the muddy existence of a human being. The theatrical chaos that is staged when our biological systems developed to keep us sane result utterly inadequate to the technologies we have unleashed. We fall victims of our incessant need for love and information, of our deadly fear of mistakes and rejection. If a river swallows up a village, can it still exist on the other side of the hill? Do we remain the same person after being torn to pieces and put back together again?

Rearraigo is a play about collective and individual grief after what we call home disappears, about the villages flooded by Franco and mental health, about the similarities between the external territory we inhabit and our own foundations, and about the reconstruction of both the land and the self.
